    would this also work with a spanish guitar?(i fear the nylon strings are going to give problems)

    No – It HAS to have all 6 strings being metallic.

    @bunsenhoneydew111 LOL I WOULN’T DRILL A HOLE ANYWHERE IN A GUITAR…. anyways… yeah it’s cool… if you can’t afford an electric acoustic guitar… though that cable will get in your way when playing…. if ur recording, i suggest you get a good condenser mic to record it.. they sound awesome…. if U’ll play live, buy a pick up, they are not expensive.. like 70 bucks or so… anyways… later guys

    no, nylon strings will not interact with the pickup

    Do you have to turn your amp volume all the way up when you’re attempting to add a pickup to your acoustic guitar?
