    Wow. Beautiful! Too bad it’s out of tune slightly. Must be hard to get those low strings perfectly in tune.
    Is this guy really Canadian?

    what is the purpose of the 5strings above there???bass string??no fret board…due to bigger body…it can project nice tone and volume…

    It’s called a harp guitar. It has the standard number of guitar strings but also includes the bass register strings to expand the possiblities for composition. There are many great players composing on Harp guitars. Look for Michael Hedges who brought his own unique style to the Harp Guitar.

    I can’t get enough of this, oh so, lyrical song played by your magic fingers Mr Alder, and yes, the harp is beautiful but dormant until you caress the strings to make those smooth tunes of yours !!! Bravo !
