Rosewood necks look the best. I don’t like the look of maple necks. And ebony necks… Well it’s just an opposite of maple. I like to be in the middle.

Almost all guitars are factory made but some gibsons are hand made, those my friend are Custom Shop Guitars… that’s why the customs are so expensive.

  15. PSIboy66 on September 20th, 2009 4:21 pm

    yay Godin!!

  16. NortonCherry on September 30th, 2009 7:57 am

This is how factory guitars are made, but guitars are still handmade in their thousands by luthiers using a very different approach to this. There’s a DVD called “A Complete Custom Electric Guitar Build” (and a YouTube clip too) which shows how a guitar is built “by hand”!

  22. Songwriter4God on February 24th, 2010 1:48 pm

Duh! You must be so ignorant if you think they are1 They show it! Godin! The stupidity of some Youtubers is amazing. (Not saying your too bad, as you didn’t say, like “You’re all idiots, it’s obviously a Fender.” (Fender ’cause it doesn’t even have a “G” in it.) You also said that you don’t think they’re Gibsons, makes you smarter than the rest.)

  23. Songwriter4God on February 24th, 2010 1:52 pm

It’s a Godin Pay attention. It shows them putting on the logo, and it goes on the body, not headstock. Gibson puts it on the headstock, like most companies.

  24. laskt9 on February 25th, 2010 9:31 pm

wow you must be the smartest person on youtube! i was replying to someone elses comment.

  25. Songwriter4God on March 1st, 2010 9:40 am

You phrased it like you were saying you weren’t quite sure but didn’t 100% think so. You should’ve just said they’re not.
