    the “american” way to make cakes is different from the “italian” way.
    I’m italian, we don’t use to frost our cakes,indeed we use home-made whipped cream to cover the cake more ingredients in the inside (usually vanilla custard and chocolate) and simple ingredients for the decoration(chocolate, custard, fruit..) WITHOUT colourings! thats’ why this cake looks like “artificial”, not inviting at all…sorry but italian mothers wouldn’t EVER make eat this cake to their children :\

    @ the Italian response below: they’re mimicking Guitar Hero. A very popular video game in the US. So Italian mothers won’t make this cake, big freaking deal. Cake is cake, you like what you like, I like my canolis made from Russians and my Italian food from Olive Garden. Haha! Get over it, it’s just a cake demonstration. XD
