I’ve always wanted to play this tune! Who’s the composer?

  6. faynes on January 25th, 2009 8:34 pm

Henry Mancini from the movie Daktari (not sure of the spelling)

megatars suck. The guy Traktor Topaz can’t sell any instruments without mentioning the Chapman Stick. Sleazy car salesman that he is.

It’s called business. I’ve been thinking hard for a year about whether I should get a Megatar. It has everything I want, and I prefer its tone, shape, general appearance, string spacing, etc. I’m starting Traktor’s layaway plan today. Even if the Chapman stick were to cost less than the Megatar, I’d still get a Megatar. (But if the Megatar cost more than a Chapman stick at current price, I’d probably get neither ;) ).

I don’t think Traktor is being dishonest. The same thing happens with electric guitars: most are Fender Strat clones, and during decades most bass gutars were called Fender, so it wasn’t odd to hear someone speaking about “a Fender Bass” regardless of its brand.

I absolutely loved this performance!! I love seeing how much fun you are having playing the piece.

I have officially stopped tapping, but I love a great player who does it well and you are that person sir.

    Great work.

It isnt light you can buy a slider bar that attaches to to back and it rests on your legs in a sitting position I always find my self siting it on my feet in a sit down R
