Who is Eddy Van Halen?
Back in 1978, the debut of Van Halen (the bando) changed the face of hard rock and electric guitar forever.
Eddie Van Halen, developing a fast method of two-handed tapping, pull-offs, and hammer-ons, created a sound that was creative, extreme, and temperature-raising.
Van Halen the band featured a showman vocalist named David Lee Roth, who perfected the sound of the metal singer with flair and panache,
The pair made Van Halen into the the ultimate visible American rock and roll band in the 70's and 80's, and along the way defined metal and hard rock for years to come.
